Penguins in Antarctica
In this lesson, Kindergarten students learned how to create space by understanding that things look smaller when they are farther away. They used tempera paint to mix tints of cool colors for the snowy landscape, then collaged little penguins into these environments-- one close, and one far away. Finally, we splatter-painted snow!
